AI for speed, humans for judgment: how we actually use AI
AI can generate a hundred directions in minutes. It cannot tell you which one is right. Here is where we let it run and where we do not.

The honest take on AI in design is neither hype nor dismissal. AI is genuinely fast at generation. It is genuinely weak at judgment, context and validation. The trick is to use it for the first and never for the second.
Where AI earns its keep
We let AI cluster research, draft variations and produce boilerplate. It compresses the slow, mechanical parts of the process so we spend our time on the decisions that matter.
Where a human stays in the loop
Taste, edge cases, brand fit and the call on what actually ships stay with people. A prompt cannot feel why one direction is right for your users and another is generic. That judgment is the whole job.
AI makes you faster. It does not make you right. Those are different problems.
Used this way, you get weeks of work compressed into days without the flat, interchangeable result that pure generation produces.
