The case for one flat monthly design fee

Hourly billing rewards slowness and fixed bids punish change. Why a subscription model lines up incentives for everyone.

A monthly calendar and a single subscription card represent predictable design delivery.

How you pay for design shapes the design you get. Hourly billing quietly rewards taking longer. Fixed-bid projects punish the change requests that good products actually need. Both put the studio and the client on opposite sides.

A flat fee aligns incentives

With one predictable monthly price, nobody is counting hours and nobody is haggling over scope. The studio is rewarded for shipping good work fast, and the client can change direction without a renegotiation.

The best pricing model is the one where both sides want the same thing.

It also makes budgeting trivial. You know the number before the month starts, you can pause when the pipeline is quiet, and you scale up when it is not.
